Movies in the Classroom Permission Slips


In recent national news article, a teacher was suspended for failing to follow proper school protocol when they showed clips from an R rated movie for educational purposes. Although the ClassBrain Movies in the Classroom section contains a large number of G Rated movies, we also cover PG, PG-13, and R Rated films as well. We believe in using current movies to teach students many different concepts, that otherwise might never catch a student's attention. A film may be rated PG-13 or R, but parts of that film may be perfect to illustrate a segment of history for a younger student. This prompted our team to create a group of permission slips so teachers can avoid this problem. Feel free to adjust these permission slips to fit your school policies, and be sure to get them approved by your administration before you use them.
