How do you figure out the nuts and bolts of college writing when you have an important paper or project due? Try visiting one of these excellent resource sites at famous US Universities, who have opened their resources for writers of all ages.

The Writing Center

The Writing Center allows you to explore resources for writing papers and fiction. This simple, well-organized site will help writers of all ages pull together a great essay regardless of the style of writing. Learn how to collect research from the Internet, all about plagiarism, effective quoting and punctuation, and how to plan essays from beginning to end. And if it's a novel that you're thinking about attacking, there are even resources to help you plan your first or your most recent tome.This is an excellent site, full of materials every student, teacher, and parent should know of related to the nuts and bolts of writing for high school, college, and beyond.

Emory Writing Center

The Emory Writing Center is a great place to start when you have a paper due. They cover everything from conceptualizing your essay to thesis statements to quoting sources, and everything in between. If you're having a hard time with your grammar, also be sure to check out their Grammar Guide
